The Geological Society of South Sudan (GEO-SSS) is a Non-profit Scientific society for earth scientists established during Covid-19 in 2021.

Our main objective is to promote, Support and advance the earth sciences within Scientific and wider Community by Acting as National Advisory Authority on Geo-Hazard like Earthquake, Flooding, Landslide, Famine & Drought.

The society is committed to execute many lists of action. It includes providing Excellency in Earth Science, Dissemination of scientific information, restoring integrity in science, establishing proper communication system with fellow scientists of the world and working towards building up a stronger Earth Science in the Republic of South Sudan.
